The big guy and the bald guy and the kinda short girl took an improv class together in Austin. The Canadian girl had studied at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York. The music nerd guy had just arrived in Austin from Michigan, a move that made Texas happy. Anyway, the Canadian girl and the big guy got to talking at an Austin improv party, and they decided that, because they love stories and they felt ready for the challenge of making them up on the spot, they would form a narrative longform improv troupe, and they would be coached by the foreign-looking guy and the curly-haired guy from the inimitable Parallelogramophonograph. Since shortly after that time, the big guy and the Canadian girl and the kinda short girl and the bald guy and the music nerd guy have been the improv troupe known as Skipfield.
